Missed appointments. Planning a deposit system.

Hi everyone 😊
I’ve recently had a few new clients book appointments (both online and in person) and unfortunately not turn up.
I completely understand that things can come up, but missed appointments leave empty slots that could have been offered to other clients, and they do impact my small business — from wages to bills and products.
Running a business means I rely on each booking, just like we all rely on our income. It’s a bit like turning up to work and unexpectedly losing a few hours’ pay.
If you ever need to cancel or rearrange, I’d really appreciate as much notice as possible 💛
